Committees
Board of Directors
Policy making body for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut. Develops positions and directs activities for the association. Provides legal authority for action by the association.

Budget & Finance Committee
Develops, monitors and reviews Chapter finances. Ensures that goals adopted in the Chapter Annual Budget are met.
Chairman: Michael Novosel, Kostin, Ruffkess & Co., LLC.
Executive Committee
Comprised of the officers of Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut. Consults with and advises the President on policy matters. Makes policy recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Governmental Affairs Committee
Provides lobbying services for Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut. Develops and implements strategies to protect the rights of Merit Shop contractors. Tracks legislation on the state and federal levels. Provides testimony to appropriate bodies.

Member Recruitment Committee
Studies and recommends policies to the Board of Directors related to acquisition and retention of members. Implements strategies for recruiting new members for the association.
Chairmen: Travis Ramsdell, Maffe Financial
Member Benefits Committee
Reviews and distributes benefits information regarding ABC benefits to CT ABC members.

Proactive Strategies Task Force
This task force is monitoring and developing solutions for the challenges that are facing merit shop contractors.
Safety Committee
Oversees yearly safety events such as ABC's of Safety, STEP workshops, quarterly safety seminars and other classes deemed pertinent and timely for the CT ABC membership. Formed OSHA Alliance with federal organization to enhance training programs offered by CT ABC.
