GM Discounts
ABC MEMBERS TO GET DISCOUNT ON GM VEHICLES!
ABC continues to partner with GM to offer a national discount program for ABC members on General Motors vehicles. Members can combine the ABC discount with most other GM discounts and incentives already in place for additional savings. The program is available to all ABC member firms, even those with just one company vehicle.
ABC's private incentive offer program with GM, is part of a three-year agreement. The program enables ABC members to take a GM fleet or retail incentive and then add ABC's incentive on top of it for an additional savings of $500 on cars and SUVs, $1,000 on trucks, and $2,000 on vans. The member will receive the ABC discount in addition to the best available GM business or consumer incentive program in effect at the time of delivery.

Q: Can't I negotiate better terms on my own?
A: The ABC discount is just that, a discount. It is subtracted after your best negotiated price.
Q: I get a corporate discount from GM – is this a better program?
A: Some very large companies have pre-negotiated discounts from GM. These are usually higher amounts than the ABC discount.
Q: How much will I save?
A: That depends on the vehicle. Discounts per vehicle range from $500 to $2000
Q: The GM dealer doesn't know anything about the ABC Discount Program, how do I find out more?
A: That's why it's important to deal with a dealer well versed in commercial and fleet sales. Because this is a private offer, many dealers are not familiar with the program. Click here for more information to give your dealer.
Q: Does the discount come out of the dealer's profit?
A: No. The discount is paid by GM to the dealer and passed on to ABC members.
Q: How do I show proof of membership?
A: Most dealers will require some proof i.e. a membership card, receipt, etc. GM Partners with CT ABC, such as Scranton Motors require nothing from members. They confirm membership directly with CT ABC.
Q: The dealer says the GM program has been discontinued, has it?
A: No.
Q: Is it worth joining ABC just to get the discount?
A: That's up to each contractor individually, but many members save more on their vehicle purchases than their annual dues.
Q: I already purchased my vehicle; can I still get the discount?
A: Perhaps. Dealers can apply for these types of discounts up to 90 days after a delivery.
Q: Can employees of member companies get the discount?
A: Only if the vehicle is purchased under the company name.
Q: What vehicles is the discount good for?
