Chris Fryxell

Chris Fryxell - President

Chris Fryxell joined the ABC team as President of the Connecticut Chapter in 2017. His current responsibilities include: leading the opposition against PLAs and RCOs, coordinating lobbying efforts at the State Capitol, and handling the Chapter's Membership efforts. Prior to joining CT ABC, Chris spent over 10 years working in the Connecticut legislature, where he helped fight for policies that encourage business growth and free enterprise in the state of Connecticut. He uses his knowledge and experience to help CT ABC and our members navigate through tough issues and the challenging Connecticut political landscape. 

Chris lives in Essex with his wife Sarah and their two daughters, Abigail and Morgan.

Chris Abel

Chris Abel - Vice President

Chris Abel joined CT ABC as the Membership Director in July of 2018, before being promoted to the Vice President in 2025. He regularly meets with current and potential members, directing and administering the association’s member recruitment and retention programs while developing recruitment strategies to achieve membership growth, as well as assisting with the association’s marketing efforts. Prior to joining CT ABC, Chris spent the ten years managing territories throughout the northeast in the continuing education space with his most recent position being with New England Institute of Technology, where he maintained relationships with over 130 high schools in Connecticut.

Audra Antrum

Audra Antrum - Special Events Coordinator

Audra Antrum joined CT ABC in 2010 as the chapter’s Special Events Director after working with the association for several years.  Her trademark enthusiasm and energy have helped raise the bar to unparalleled heights for our Annual Dinner & Excellence in Construction Awards program and Rodeo/Career Day Expo among other signature chapter events.  Audra brings a depth and understanding of what our members expect for their participation that comes from being a business owner herself. With 25 years of fundraising event planning experience—the last 16 as a consultant and entrepreneur--Audra has proven that she is big on results and short on excuses.

Marcie Addy

Marcie Addy - Education Director

Marcie Addy joined CT ABC as the Education Director of the Construction Education Center in 2017. She plans, directs and coordinates the apprenticeship, continuing education and professional development programs. Prior to joining CT ABC, Marcie managed administrative components of medical education programs including accreditation compliance and marketing strategies. She has worked in ESPN’s legal department and maintained web site content for the Yale School of Public Health. Marcie lives in Rocky Hill with her husband and their two sons.
