As the fastest growing modular construction company in the U.S., Vesta Modular sought to open a new branch in Connecticut, and wanted a branch manager whose values and work ethic gelled with Vesta Modular’s growth expectations. They wanted to hire someone with experience, tenacity, someone with a get-it-done attitude.

Enter Lisa Roosa, a longtime friend of CT ABC. Lisa had been working for her previous employer for 31 years, in that time building a strong record of customer service, sales, negotiation, budgeting, and operations management within the construction industry.

Lisa was looking for a new opportunity, and saw a great one at Vesta Modular.

“I’m all about service,” Lisa says. “I pride myself on being a one stop shop, being the point of contact, there from beginning to end. With Vesta Modular, I saw an opportunity to continue to do that, and help build this new branch from the ground up.”

Vesta Modular own thousands of standard prefabricated modular buildings across the nation that are ready to meet the needs of all industries. Each of their standard building layouts include modern feature options to ensure handicap accessibility, LED lighting, HVAC systems, as well as digital technology compatibility.

And while Vesta Modular is a national company, Lisa says what sets them apart from their competitors is a small business mindset coupled with a business model that constantly adapts to the needs of their customers. Vesta Modular and their talented design, transportation, and construction teams work closely with each of their customers — whether they are seeking to rent, buy, or lease — and their ready-to-ship inventory can meet the demands of tight timeframes and exacting jobsites.

Lisa’s relationship with CT ABC extends back to her previous employer, and she’s attended and sponsored events throughout her time with our chapter and looks forward to continuing the relationship with Vesta Modular.

“One of the best things about CT ABC is learning about people from all industries who all have the same core values,” Lisa says. She’s a staunch supporter of the Merit Shop Philosophy, believing that it means “you’re working with the most qualified people in the industry.”

Lisa is excited to be back in the fold, and hopes to forge new connections through CT ABC and help get Vesta Modular’s name out there.

“We’re a new branch with brand new equipment and a dedicated staff,” Lisa says. “With our new office being built in Oxford, CT., we’re going to have a local presence offering the inventory of a large company with the type of personal service and connection that feels like a small business.”
