Lydia Shaughnessy is relatively new to Tenna — the newest chapter member of CT ABC. Tenna, the Construction Technology Platform revolutionizing equipment fleet operations, is a member in nine other ABC chapters and is also a member of ABC National’s Tech Alliance. They are a giant in the industry, and Lydia, Regional Account Executive for Rhode Island and Connecticut, isn’t afraid to say it.

“We are the standard in the construction industry,” Lydia says. “Beyond tracking, Tenna blends cutting-edge technology with more than 100 years of heavy civil construction experience. We are a construction-focused total equipment management solution for contractors. We help companies know more, control more, and make more.”

Tenna strives to simplify the complicated by developing products and services that provide valuable, innovative solutions for the construction industry. Their focus is to provide companies with a better way of tracking and managing their mixed asset fleet. Using state-of-the-art technologies, Tenna gives their customers a complete view of their entire equipment fleet in one integrated construction software platform.

Since starting with Tenna, Lydia has found that every day is a little bit different, and the varying aspects of her day-to-day creates a rewarding environment where she is able to develop lasting connections with Tenna clients new and old.

“The most rewarding thing I’m experiencing right now is bringing Tenna’s name to the forefront and being able to see the positive reactions from our potential clients,” says Lydia. “Our existing customers also make every day such a pleasure.”

Through the existing partnership with ABC, Tenna has been involved in a number of speaking engagements around the country. Made aware of CT ABC by Tenna CEO Austin Conti, Lydia found the CT ABC office while out prospecting for potential clients. There she was able to meet CT ABC President Chris Fryxell and Membership Director Chris Abel. She’s been actively involved with the chapter since and looks forward to many more networking opportunities.

“Even though I’m relatively new to Tenna, they’ve made me feel like I’ve been with them from the start, and CT ABC has done the same,” Lydia says. “We’re (Tenna) in incredible growth mode, and I look forward to my role evolving as our products do.”
